Dahlia

Taken in the garden near the entrance of Crown Isle.  I have to say, Dahlias have been one of my favourite flowers ever since I snapped this photo.  I especially love the vibrant, bold colours in this one in particular.

Galactic

Taken on a rooftop garden in downtown Comox.  I have never seen this type of flower before (which I now know is called a Night Sky petunia) and was mesmerized by its cosmic appearance.  Sure enough, these beautiful petunias are also referred to as ‘galaxy flowers’, which is certainly a fitting name.

Un-bee-lievable

I was enjoying an early evening walk at the local marina when I came across a bunch of bees buzzing around the flowers.  Apparently, bees and lavender = best friends.

Pretty in Purple

My friend and I grabbed our cameras and headed to Filberg Park to take some photos on the grounds.  I was immediately drawn towards the plants and came across this lovely lavender.

Evening Light

Another photo from Filberg Park.  I think this White sweetclover is technically classified a weed, but it is one of the prettiest weeds I know!

Tulips.jpg

Tulips

Taken in a garden at Crown Isle.  I found the colour of these Tulips absolutely gorgeous, so I had to snap a quick photo.

Fallen Petals

Wisteria lines the arbors of my backyard in the springtime and the sight of it makes me so happy.  Eventually, the plants start to fade and the petals start to fall, but even so, the result is delicately beautiful.
